Nearly 1,900 Puget Sound Energy customers on Kent’s East Hill and in Covington were without power for about two hours early Tuesday morning, Dec. 29.
The outage started at about 5 a.m. Tuesday. PSE restored power at about 7 a.m. The outage struck the Soos Creek substation.
“No cause was found,” said a PSE spokeswoman. “There was no separate cause like a tree limb on wires. But we sent service personnel out and they were able to restore power.”
To report power outages, call PSE at 1-888-225-5773.
