Rainier Youth Choirs’ youngest choir, Bella Voce, recently toured with Bellevue Girlchoir’s Training choir. The 50-plus singers in grades 4-7 traveled to Olympia for a performance in the capitol rotunda.
During their lunch time show, each choir performed a variety of songs, highlighted by joining together for a finale celebrating friends. After a quick lunch, the choristers were off on a guided scavenger hunt. The day was capped off with fun and thrills at the Great Wolf Lodge.
The following day, both groups performed at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, watched some modern alchemy in the hot shop, and feasted on pizza before returning home.
According to Rainier Youth Choirs’ Bella Voce director Brad Wills, the tour was a perfect 10 and young singers were stellar representatives of RYC who enjoyed the shared camaraderie with BGC.
RYC’s mission is to guide singers in grades 4-14 to attain the highest level of artistry in choral performance and music appreciation through an affordable program. RYC values character building and excellence in all endeavors while delivering fine performances and engaging in other family-friendly activities.
