For the Reporter

Rainier Youth Choirs, a nonprofit, community-based program, concluded the 2014-2015 Imagine season with a concert featuring all four choirs and several small community outreach performances.

The season was sponsored in part by the Kent Arts Commission and 4 Culture.

On May 31, the RYC’s Out of the Blue concert was filled with amusing songs and entertaining choreography followed by a family picnic with great food and fun activities.

In early June, the RYC’s Vocina, Bella Voce, and Colla Voce choirs shared their talents with Arbor Village Retirement Center in Kent. The choirs sang the national anthem during a naturalization oath ceremony in Covington, and the Consonare choir performed for Chateau Retirement Center in Renton.
