The Kent Senior Activity Center’s Readers Theater troupe known as the Knot Quite Write Players presents its fall presentations Oct. 24 and 31 at 1:15 p.m. on the Social Hall Stage.
Tickets are $1 and go on sale at 12:30 p.m. the day of each show. Doors open at 1 p.m. for the 1:15 p.m. curtain at the stage, located in the east end of the senior center, 600 E. Smith St.
Three plays, “Courtroom Capers”, written by Drena Heizer, and “Dead Cat” and “Doctor, Doctor”, both written by Bob Naquin, are performed with special permission from ArtAge Publications Senior Theatre Resource Center. The fourth play, “The Son-in-Law”, is written by Susan Jarrett, a KQWP member.
Ralph Armstrong will perform the opening song, “Old Man River”.
Corporate co-sponsors, The Chateau at Valley Center and the Kent Lions Club, made a substantial contribution toward the purchase of wireless sound enhancing equipment for the audience, including special options for those who are hearing impaired.
