The Seattle Mist had a meet and greet with members of the media and the public Dec. 29 at the site of their home field – the Kent ShoWare Center.
The players are ramping up for their big game Jan. 1.
Ranked fifth in the league with a 2-1 season, the Mist will host Western Conference rival and the No. 1 ranked Dallas Desire (3-0) in the season’s final showdown riddled with playoff implications. Only two teams from each conference will advance to playoffs in Miami, with winners advancing to the Seventh Annual Lingerie Bowl, the LFL’s championship game. For the Seattle Mist to make their first-ever playoff berth they must beat the Dallas Desire and hope for a Los Angeles loss.
Seattle Mist fans also can start the party early at the LFL’s Tailgate Village festivities starting 7 p.m. on game day.
