This year’s annual Kent School District Technology Expo was held for the first time at the ShoWare Center and featured local businesses showing how the technology used in the classroom is translated to the real world.
According to the school district, this year’s event drew more than 4,000 visitors to watch more than 500 students and 150 teachers demonstrate how technology is used in their classrooms.
In addition, 35 local businesses and agencies were invited to demonstrate how the same technology is used every day. This was the first year businesses were invited to participate in the event.
