Sound Publishing to stage Smith vs. Smith forum on Sept. 19

Sound Publishing will host a public forum featuring candidates for the 9th Congressional District who will appear on the Nov. 6 general election ballot.

Rep. Adam Smith (D) and challenger Sarah Smith (D) will participate in a moderated forum from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club, 3583 SW 320th St., Federal Way.

Dr. T.M. Sell of Highline College will moderate. Attendees can submit questions at the beginning of the event.

The district extends from Southeast Seattle and Bellevue down through Renton, Tukwila and Kent, to Federal Way and Tacoma.

Ballots will be mailed to voters the week of Oct. 15.
