Sound Transit hosts an open house on its South 200th Link Extension project from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 22 in the gym at Madrona Elementary School, 20301 32nd Ave. S. in SeaTac.
A presentation on the project begins at 7 p.m.
During the open house, citizens will learn about progress on constructing the elevated guideway and station, review early design of the 1,050-space parking garage and public plaza, and view design concepts for roadway, bicycle and pedestrian improvements.
The elevated Angle Lake Station will include passenger platforms with covered waiting areas, a transfer area for local and RapidRide bus connections, dedicated areas for passenger pickup and drop-off, and vanpool parking. Secured bicycle storage, street improvements, bicycle and pedestrian access, landscaping and public art are also elements of the project.
