The St. James Thrift Shop, a part of the Kent community for more than 40 years, must move.
Store volunteers said the shop must relocate by the first of March because its location, at 314 W. Meeker St., has been sold.
The thrift shop, an all-volunteer nonprofit business rich in local history, has given back more than $1 million to local community organizations.
It is searching for a new location and needs help and support from the community in its search.
Anyone with information on affordable retail locations, please contact the shop’s manager, Dale Warren, at 253-852-4450.
