The Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run collision that injured a motorcyclist at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 in Kent.
The collision occurred along southbound Highway 167 near State Route 516, according to a March 16 press release from the State Patrol.
A 43-year-old Tacoma man was riding a red Honda motorcycle and traveling in the HOV lane when a silver passenger vehicle changed lanes into the motorcycle causing it to go down, according to the State Patrol. The vehicle fled the scene.
Troopers are looking for a silver sedan, possibly a BMW.
The motorcyclist sustained a broken elbow and ankle, according to the State Patrol. The State Patrol is investigating the incident as a felony hit-and-run.
