After careful consideration for the safety of its guests and employees, the Washington State Spring Fair (April 16-19) in Puyallup has been canceled.

Fair officials released this statement Wednesday:

“(The fair is) Washington’s home to gather and celebrate for generations to come. Our commitment is to remain that home. At this time, we are doing our part to keep our staff and community as healthy as possible.”

Those who have purchased tickets for the Spring Fair and/or Motorsport Mayhem events will be refunded.

If you purchased by credit or debit card, either online or at the box office, refunds will be processed automatically and refunded to the original card used for payment. There is no need to contact the fair. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for processing. If your card has been canceled since you purchased, please contact the box office at boxoffice@thefair.com. If you purchased with cash, please email the box office at boxoffice@thefair.com for further instructions on how to obtain a refund.
