Bartell Drugs is once again partnering with the Salvation Army to provide holiday gifts for children in need by collecting new, unwrapped toys
during its ninth annual Salvation Army “Toy ‘N’ Joy” drive through Dec. 14.
Bartell’s Kent location is 12946 S.E. Kent Kangley Road.
The toy donations will be accepted at all 58 Bartell Drugs locations in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. Toys will be distributed to low-income children and youth the week before Christmas through the Salvation Army’s “toy warehouses.”
The five-week drive in 2011 generated over 5,200 toy donations by Bartell’s customers-the estimated equivalent of $78,637 in toys to the Salvation Army.
Donation options include:
• Choose a “gift request tag” from the “Toy ‘N’ Joy” display in the store and return the gift to the donation barrel with the tag affixed to it.
• Donate new, unwrapped gifts appropriate for children up to age 14.
