Drivers should prepare for late-night lane closures in Renton and Bellevue this weekend as crews close lanes to paint lane stripes on the road.
Closure details:
• Friday, Dec. 4 – Crews will close two lanes in each direction on I-405 between I-5 and SR 167. The first lane will close at 11 p.m. and the second lane will close at midnight. All lanes will reopen by 8 a.m. the following morning.
• Friday, Dec. 4 – Crews will close up to three lanes on northbound I-405 from SE Eighth Street to NE 12th Street. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second at 10 p.m. and the third at midnight. All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. the following morning.
• Saturday, Dec. 5 – Crews will close up two lanes on northbound I-405 from SE Eighth Street to NE 12th Street. The first lane will close at 9 p.m. and the second at 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 8 a.m. the following morning.

Drivers should prepare for nighttime delays in Tukwila and Renton while crews close lanes and ramps for construction work.
• Monday, Dec. 7 – morning of Friday, Dec. 11 – Crews will close up to two lanes in each direction of I-405 between I-5 and SR 169. Lane closures are scheduled to begin nightly between 9 p.m. and midnight and all lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.
• Monday, Dec. 7 – morning of Friday, Dec. 11 – Crews may close the following ramps nightly to paint lane stripes.
The on-ramp from southbound SR 167 to southbound I-405 nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The off-ramp from northbound I-405 to southbound SR 167 nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The off-ramp from northbound I-405 to northbound SR 167 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The off-ramp from northbound I-405 to SR 181 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The ramp closures are weather dependent.
