Kent City Council candidate Toni Troutner plans a series of community get-togethers to kick off her campaign.

Troutner is running against Brenda Fincher on the Nov. 3 general election ballot.

People are invited to attend the home gatherings at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 20836 101st Ave. S.E.; at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 431 Clark Ave. N.; and at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 616 E. Guiberson St.
