Take a bit of time for the city of Kent’s final Take-Out Tuesdays concert of the summer from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 16 at Kent Station Plaza, 417 Ramsay Way.
Seattle Latin jazz trumpeter Bobby Medina will perform everything from romantic ballads and soulful tunes to fiery dance rhythms.
Medina has toured or performed at shows with Ray Charles, Mel Torme, The Four Tops, C.J. Chenier, The Coasters, The Spinners, Martha and the Vandellas, Bobby Vinton, Ann Jillian, Harry Blackstone Jr., Shari Lewis, Andy Russell, Celio Gonzalez, Rolando La Serie and others.
Medina began playing the accordion at age 5 and took up the trumpet at age 11.
