U.S. Rep. Adam Smith, D-Bellevue, has rescheduled a Town Hall originally set Saturday, July 29.
The event now will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Foster High School Performing Arts Center, 4242 S. 144th St., Tukwila.
Smith, who represents Washington’s Ninth Congressional District, decided to reschedule the event because it is possible the House of Representatives could remain in session over the weekend to vote on health care legislation.
The Town Hall is free, but those who wish to attend should online or by calling 425-793-5180 or 888-764-8409.
The Ninth Congressional District includes Seattle, Renton, Kent, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Tukwila, SeaTac, Des Moines, Federal Way and Tacoma.
