The Urbia Fresh Cafe featured an open mic benefit “Coffee House Session” June 24.
The Kent coffee shop performers included Tori Whitten, an Enumclaw High freshman and Rob Kneisler from Kent.
Also showing up was the Jim Hanna, a well known performer from the area who lives in Maple Valley.
Kneisler said he hopes the open mic session will become a regular feature at the Urbia Fresh Cafe, which is located at 415 Central Ave. N and is operated by Lori Neven.
The proceeds from the open mic went to Kent Youth and Family Services.
