Kent city staff will host an open house to discuss two proposed off-leash dog parks from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Daniel Elementary School, 11310 S.E. 248th St.
The two sites under consideration for off-leash parks are on the East Hill at an undeveloped park at 26612 132nd Ave. S.E. and at property next to Morrill Meadows Park at 10600 S.E. 248th St.
Each site would be about 3 acres with a fenced facility for off-leash use. City staff will present the proposed designs of the two parks at the open house.
For more information or to get added to a mailing list regarding the parks, call the city parks department at 253-856-5110.
