South winds in Kent could reach 15 to 25 mph Monday night and Tuesday morning with gusts to 30 mph.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory because of the predicted winds. Forecasters also expect plenty of rain.

Sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph or gusts of 45 to 57 mph can snap small tree branches, topple small or shallow rooted trees and cause local power outages.
