The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett area from 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, through 4 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Forecasters predict southwest winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result, according to the National Weather Service.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle, such as semi trucks with light trailers, vans, SUVs and light trucks. Secure outdoor objects.
