Tons of fun are in the works for kids of all ages at Kent’s upcoming You Me We event from 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 1 at the ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.
Families won’t want to miss the third annual free festival that celebrates the great work of many youth, teen, and family resources serving Kent and spotlights exceptional talents of young local performers.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with Kent youth and teen performers taking the stage at 6:30 p.m.
Other activities include:
Interactive booths; hands-on art activities; Radio Disney; sports competitions; face painting; bounce houses; games, contests, raffles, prizes; and $1 hot dogs and $1 soda.
Kent Food Bank will be on site to take food donations.
The event is organized by a collaboration of community groups, including the Kent School District, Kent Parks Department, youth groups, sports and scouting organizations, churches, local businesses and service clubs.
