Federal Way Police report that investigations suggest that the child was struck amid a shootout between a relative of the child and another subject, and that the incident is not a random occurrence.

Federal Way Police report that their “thoughts are with the family of the child affected by this shooting” and that their “detectives are working tirelessly to identify suspects and we are committed to pursuing justice for the victim and the family.”
