Law enforcement are investigating a nighttime shooting that occurred Monday, Jan. 15 on State Route 18 in Auburn.
No injuries resulted from the shooting, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Washington State Patrol communications received a 911 call from a driver at approximately 8:10 p.m. Jan. 15, reporting that their vehicle was shot at.
According to the state patrol, troopers contacted and interviewed the victim, driving a semi-truck with a trailer attached. The driver stated a dark green Ford F-250 or F-350 passed as they traveled eastbound on State Route 18 near State Route 167 and fired a single shot that shattered the driver’s-side window.
Following the shooting, the suspect vehicle exited to C Street Southwest in Auburn, according to the state patrol.
State patrol detectives have requested public assistance in finding information on the suspect vehicle and suspect. Anyone with information can email Detective John Ford at john.ford@wsp.wa.gov.
