Woman found dead at Fairwood apartment complex

King County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating after shots were fired

The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is investigating a killing in the Cascade-Fairwood area of southern Renton after a shooting on Nov. 23.

Deputies responded to a 911 call around 1:45 a.m. after shots were heard in the area south of the Fairwood Gold and Country Club, according to KCSO.

Deputies found a deceased woman outside of the buildings of the Carriages at Fairwood Downs apartment complex in the 15000 block of Southeast 177th Place, leading to a full investigation of the scene which lasted several hours, according to KCSO.

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the homicide. An autopsy report has not yet been released.
