Forever 41
In the still of the night on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 Alex left us for his next journey as he passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Alex was a loving and devoted son, bonus son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He loved his life partner Antonia Patac of 19 years and her family and leaves her to care for their fur babies Chaos, Mayhem and Bagheera. Alex was loyal, protective, selective of those he held close and was authentically true to himself. He was a man of his word and showed kindness to most while life wasn’t always kind to him which prompted him to give and seek the best in himself and others. He stepped up for the underdog and accepted the consequences of his actions. Alex loved his Red Sox and was a lifelong Seahawks fan! He was not a fair-weather fan as he rooted for his team through every season and could recite stats like nobody’s business. He was part of the gaming world and made friends near and far and he knew more about WWF and Professional Wrestling than the wrestlers themselves knew. He attended school in Lake Stevens proudly graduating from Job Corp in 2005. Alex was no stranger to the medical world and battled life-long health issues from birth but that didn’t stop him. He was your cheerleader if you were in his circle, he never gave up and this Gentle Giant’s smile, laughter and sense of humor will be missed greatly for the rest of our days along with his signature bear hug. In addition to his work family with Costco Alex leaves his beloved mom Shawn Ross, his bonus dad Keith Ross, sister Mary Kusulos Shipley (Scott), two bonus brothers Geoffrey and Matthew Ross (Claire and Megan), Grandmother Dena Kusulos, God Father Andrew Delegans, Uncle Clive Coverdale (Mikiko), Aunt Shari Coverdale, Uncle Bill Kusulos (Dolly) and Aunt Alexandra Angel (Albert) with many cousins, second cousins, bonus uncles, aunts and his beloved nieces and nephews Bell, Andrew, Evann, Zoe and Aurren. Alex joins his family who passed before him – his dear dad Andrew Kusulos, his grandmother Nancy Coverdale along with other family and fur babies. A Celebration of his life will be on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 1pm – 4pm at Cady Funeral Home, Kent WA. In honor of Alex, please feel free to wear “something Seahawks” as we remember him and share a story or two. Forever 41 Alex.
