Passed away peacefully on January 24, 2022, at the age of 79.
Born October 11, 1942 at Tule Lake Internment Camp Newell, California.
Preceded in death by her husband of 51 1⁄2 years Douglas Yamada. Parents – Hiroshi & Doris Sagara and brother Robert A. Sagara.
She leaves behind two daughters: Tanya & Shannon, three grandchildren: Jordan, Shelby and Marley, her brother Gary Sagara and sister Laura Dyson. With several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws that will miss her.
Carolyn worked at Alaskan Airlines for several years before pursuing a career at Meridian Valley Country Club where she stayed for 30 years.
Her earlier hobbies included toll painting, gardening, crafting, sewing, clam digging, mushroom hunting and Japanese doll making. Recent years were spent pampering her grandchildren she loved dearly. A private burial service will be held in the near future.
