Dr. Kurt Peter Eby died tragically on May 18, 2022 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 52, due to a motorcycling accident. Kurt is survived by his wife Karen and 3 children Annika (Kyle), Bria and Levi, as well as his parents Walter and Doreen Eby, and three sisters Carmen (Michael), Trina (Sheli) and Nicole (Luis).
Kurt was born on September 11, 1969 in Mission, BC, Canada. He grew up in North Delta, BC, where he graduated from High School. He then graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, and it was there where he met his wife, Karen. He then graduated from Palmer College in California with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He enjoyed raising his family on Lake Sawyer in Black Diamond and had a very successful career as a Chiropractor in Kent, WA. He was an author, inventor, pilot, sailor, mountain climber, trumpet player, swing dancer, marathon runner, world traveler, missionary. He lived every moment to its fullest.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for 10:00 am on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Real Life Church in Covington with a reception to follow. The burial afterwards will be atHillcrestBurialParkinKentat1pm. Allarewelcome to attend and celebrate Kurt’s life. As a tribute to Kurt, in lieu of flowers, Karen has requested donations to the following ministries: The Bridge of Hope, Corner of Love and The Genesis Project.
