Elmer Lee Merryman age 96 passed away peacefully April 16, 2018 at his home in Kent with family by his side. Born in Seattle September 29, 1921 and grew up in Kent, he was next to the youngest of eight children. Elmer was the owner of Midway Equipment Company where he sold and rented heavy equipment and all four of his children worked there with him.
Elmer is survived by his sons Tom and Gregg and his daughter Kathy, five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Mike and the love of his life Arlene.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 29th at noon at Marlatt Funeral Home located 713 Central Ave. N. in Kent, WA with a reception to follow.
Interment will be 11am Monday, April 30th, at Hillcrest Burial Park, 1005 Reiten Road, Kent WA.
