Francis Donald Bosshart, age 85, died peacefully at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way on November 30, 2016.
Francis is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Fobes, and daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Brad Lennon; four grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Waneta, of 55 years.
Francis was born on January 3, 1931, in Blunt, South Dakota. He was stationed in Germany as a corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. For 40 years, he was a truck driver with many of those years as a long haul driver. After retirement, he enjoyed being a volunteer for the Kent Police Department, painting, traveling and spending time with his family.
A funeral is scheduled for Monday, December 12, 2016, 1:00 pm, at Tahoma National Cemetery. There will be a reception to follow at the North Lake Improvement Club; 33228 38th Avenue S., Federal Way. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
