Hilda Mae Wolf (Hauge)
Hilda Mae Wolf (Hauge) passed away peacefully on June 24, 2010 at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, WA at the age of 82.She was born in Ada, Minnesota on February 6, 1928. She was 1 of 13 children. She moved to Kent, WA in her teens and graduated from Kent High. She married her high school sweetheart Glenn Armstrong in 1949. They had 6 children together. Hilda loved being a wife and mother, her children were her life. Hilda was loved by all who knew her. She was a beautiful woman who loved to dance, dress to the nines, and make people smile. She married Kurt Wolf in 1971. They were married 27 years until his death in 1998. Hilda was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 1999. She moved to Overlake Terrace Care Facility in Kirkland, WA. They took wonderful care of her for 6 years. Her children spent many hours at Overlake with their Mom, gathering there for special occasions. She is survived by her brother Curly Hauge and sisters Marvella Grady, and Alice Meyers. She is also survived by her children Glenn (Mona) Armstrong, Kathleen (Tom) Beers, Laurey (Darrell) Manning, Gary (Julie) Armstrong, Kim (Peter) Glandon.She is preceded in death by her son Brian Armstrong.
