Karalyn Ann Bollman
Our beloved daughter passed away peacefully on October 30, 2009. She was our angel and will live in our hearts forever. Karalyn was born on December 16, 1975 in Seattle and lived her first 20 years in Renton. She resided in Federal Way and Edgewood in recent years. Karalyn earned her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the UW and she greatly valued diversity and people from all cultures. Family was most important to Karalyn and she treasured our gatherings. She loved the outdoors where she appreciated all nature, and especially animals. She admired the simple things in life. Her precious pets, Becca and Gaby, were her children. She always found homes for stray animals she encountered. Karalyn’s compassion and caring for others, her gentle nature and honesty, were evident to all who knew her. Karalyn is survived by her mother, Lynda; father and stepmom, Lynn and Mimi; sister, Kristina; aunts and uncles, Jay and Louise, Randy and Linda; cousins, Ken, Eric, Justin, Rocky and Eric. There was a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church of Kent on November 5, 2009. Please make any donations in her name to the animal shelter of your choice.
