Lorraine J. Raby, passed peacefully November 3, 2020. Born 10/02/1921 to Swedish immigrant parents on a homestead in Cedar Butte, South Dakota, Mellette County.
Lorraine was raised on that homestead along with 2 younger brothers, Marlow and Gene. Lorraine married Melvin Larson and had 3 daughters, Linda, Marlene and Bernadene. Lorraine later married the love of her life, Norman F. Raby and they raised the 3 daughters. Norman passed away in 1977 and Lorraine remained widowed the remainder of her life. Lorraine had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren which she loved dearly and spent precious time with them as well as many nieces and nephews. She also loved Polka dancing and traveled to many Polka festivals around the country.
She truly will be missed. Praise God.
