Marlene Hansen of Renton, loved by so many, passed June 6 of this year after a blessedly short battle with cancer. She was 86 with a robust love of life and the life she shared with her family. As a professional piano player, Marlene filled the lives of everyone around her with music.
Her true loves, travel and the outdoors kept her active with a hiking group where she presided as president well into her 80’s. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Hansen of 25 years, daughters Kelly Bennett-Aurdahl of Kent and Julie Gerlach of Kirkland, grandsons Justin Gerlach of Kent, Tristan Aurdahl of Kent and granddaughter Kasey Gerlach of Tacoma.
A memorial service will be held in October and we would love for everyone to attend.
Details will be posted at https://memories.lifeweb360.com/marlene-woods-bennett-hansen. Please share pictures and memories with us. We would love to see them!
