Perry Pickett, former Renton High teacher, died of lymphoma at home March 1. He first taught at South Kitsap High, and moved to Renton in 1968 where he taught math and computer science, and was assistant football and baseball coach. He loved karaoke (was nicknamed Perryoke), and sports including fishing and golfing. He enjoyed activities at Renton and Kent senior centers.
