Phyllis June, “PJ” Manz, daughter of Emil and Esther Boline of Jordan, Montana passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the age of 93.
She attended elementary school in Jordan and graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle. After high school she worked at Boeing as “Rosie the Riveter” where she met her future husband of 60 years, Jack Manz. They resided on the East Hill of Kent, where they raised 2 sons, Alan and David.
Phyllis was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend who captured the hearts of everyone who knew her with her generous spirit and pleasant personality. PJ remained young at heart all her life and enjoyed everything life had to offer. She spent her last 12 years after Jack’s death residing in Maple Valley. She was also preceded in death by her brother “Bo”, sister Bonnie and son David. She is survived by her son Alan,
3 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
She will rest at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent with her husband Jack. A celebration of her life will be held at an Open House at Lake Wilderness Villa Clubhouse, 24100 221st Pl. S.E., Maple Valley, WA 98038, April 28 from 1:00-4:00.
