Born to Richard and Dorothy Shonka on April 25, 1944 in Seattle, WA. Lived her entire life with determination, compassion, style and grace in the Seattle area. As a full time working wife and mother, Sharon still had the determination to pursue her desire of obtaining her Goal of a Degree in Business Administration. She received her 4 Year BA Degree in Just 5 years. Going Nights, weekends and summers. She graduated with a 3.85 GPA while still working full time. For over 30 years she was the NW Regional Field Office Manager for a Major Aerospace Company. She loved singing in the church choir and cared for her family deeply and without reserve. “Mom Sharon” passed peacefully at 15:45 on Friday September 24, 2010 with her husband by her side. Although her life has been cut short by many Major Medical Issues and events she fought hard and long! She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 yrs Ralph Forsgren, her daughter Cyndi Wood (Nevada), granddaughter Erin Ferrill (Seattle, WA), her brother Richard Shonka Jr.(Auburn, WA) and many people who she considered family and friends. Memorial Service was held at Washington Memorial Park on September 30, 2010 and she was interned there next to her Mom and Dad.
