Stanley Kremnetz, 90, died Nov. 23, 2009 in Tacoma. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11:30 at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will follow at the Tahoma National Cemetery. Stanley grew up in Ottawa Lake, MI. He served in the army during WWII and was stationed at Ft. Warden where he married Mardella on January 20, 1943. He owned and operated Stan’s Chevron in Port Townsend, WA until 1966. Stanley retired from Boeing. His hobbies included woodworking, making beaded Christmas ornaments and reading.He is survived by his wife, Mardella Kremnetz of Kent, WA; sons John (Joyce) of Yakima, WA, Rich (Pattie) of Auburn, WA, Mark (Gayle) of Graham, WA; daughters Marcyanna (Chuck)Harris of Tacoma, WA, Mary Thomas of Burien, WA, Kathy Kilmer of Port Hadlock, WA, Suzanne Hayes of Auburn, WA, Martha Kremnetz of Auburn, WA; brother Louis of Dunnellon, FL, sister Virginia Van Kirk of Ottawa Lake, MI; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
