Decorated Veteran Dies
Dick Ried was born in Port Orchard on March 10, 1925 and passed away June 13, 2009, a Gig Harbor resident since his retirement from Boeing in 1987. He spent 32 years as Administration Manager, Field Services, traveling all over the world. Funeral Mass was held this week and he will be interred at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. Arrangements are by Haven of Rest Funeral Home, Gig Harbor.
