William (Bill) F. Ford Jr.
William (Bill) F. Ford Jr. was born on April 4, 1927 and was the youngest of
6 children. Bill was 89 years old when he passed away peacefully on May 22, 2016 at Life Care Center, Federal Way.
Bill joined the US Army on June 22, 1945 and was honorably discharged on December 1, 1946. He received a WWII Victory Medal for his service.
Bill medically retired from the Kent School District in 1987. Bill loved his wife, new cars and was a major flirt with all the ladies.
Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy (Dot) Ford, and his 5 children: Paul R. Chalcraft; Betty Ann Kohler-Taylor; Richard W. Ford, William David Ford, Michele Anderson;
6 grandchildren: Misty Willingham, Christy Willingham, Lea M. Carpenter, Bryan R. Ford, Gabriel Ford, Christina Ford and
2 great-grandchildren; Alishia Willingham and Ellie Carpenter as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by all his siblings and 2 grandchildren, Keashawana Willingham(2002) and Aaron John (AJ) Ford(2003).
Bill Ford was laid to rest on June 3rd, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley, WA.
