My daughter, Teresa Espinosa, invited me to accompany her to the community Veterans Day observance at Kentridge High School on Nov. 9. It was a heartwarming and gracious tribute honoring those who have served.
The school principal, Mr. Mike Albrecht and his talented staff and students really gave an uplifting and motivating performance, stressing the importance and meaning of Veterans Day.
The Kentridge band, choir and orchestra and individual student presentations were really impressive – all contributing to a most rewarding event.
I sincerely hope that all veterans in the community take the opportunity to attend next year’s ceremony as it will be an experience they won’t forget.
