Sixth-ranked Kentwood turned back No. 4 Auburn Riverside in four games in a South Puget Sound League volleyball showdown Tuesday.
Game scores were 25-22, 25-13, 19-25, 25-18.
Sarah Toeaina led the way for Kentwood with 18 kills, 7 blocks, 25 digs and 10 aces.
Kentwood (7-1-0 league, 12-1 overall) competes in the SPSL 4A tournament this weekend at Beamer High School in Federal Way.
The Conquerors open against Emerald Ridge at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Auburn Riverside (7-1-0, 10-2) plays Curtis at 5 p.m., Kentlake opens against Spanaway Lake at 11 a.m. Kentridge takes on Bethel at 7 p.m.
