Federal Way jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead and went on to subdue Kentridge 48-14 in a nonleague football game at French Field on Thursday night.
Solomon Hines ran for one touchdown and Chris Nickerson returned a fumble 15 yards for another TD for Kentridge (0-2).
Hines finished with 59 yards rushing on 11 carries.
Kentridge opens 4A North Puget Sound League Cascade Division play next Friday against Kentlake. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at French Field.
Federal Way (2-0) begins NPSL Olympic Division play next Friday at Auburn Mountainview.
