A new name, coach, owner and result.
The Seattle Timberwolves, formerly the Kent Predators, crushed the Wenatchee Valley Venom 51-12 in a professional Indoor Football League game Saturday at the ShoWare Center.
Seattle improved to 2-5 in the Pacific Division in its first game under new owner Tom Dowling and coach Sean Ponder. Dowling bought the team last week, midway through the team’s second season in Kent.
Seattle quarterback Charles McCullum completed 13 of 21 passes for 150 yards and five touchdowns. Receiver Andre Jordan had three touchdown receptions.
The Timberwolves are off this week. They play April 30 at the Tri-Cities Fever and return home at 7:05 p.m. May 6 against the Omaha Beef.
