The Kent Little League 10 and 11-year-old All-Star team continued its torrid pace Wednesday evening in a quarterfinal game of the state tournament at Windjammer Park in Oak Harbor. Kent blasted Capital 18-0 to earn a berth in the semifinal round, which is slated for Saturday, July 25 at 1 p.m. Kent hit five home runs in the win over Capital, two of which came off the bat of Jordan Jones, who also picked up the win on the mound. Also hitting home runs for Kent were: Brakken Newcomb, Austin Taylor and Jacob Rohweder.
