Kent-Meridian moved into the top spot in the SPSL North 4A with a 75-73 win over Mount Rainier Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Mount Rainier. Mike Banks, Kent-Meridian guard, led the team in scoring with 21 points. Kent-Meridian leads the North with a 7-2 record. The Royals are 9-4 overall. Mount Rainier dropped to 6-3 in league, tied for second with Kentwood.
