Vinnie Malietufa ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns and tossed a game-winning TD, leading Kent-Meridian to a 22-15 win over Kentlake in a South Puget Sound League North 4A game Friday night.
Malietufa found Matt Baigre from 27 yards out on a halfback-option pass with 6:55 left to play to lead the visiting Royals (1-1 in league) past the Falcons (1-1).
Malietufa scored on runs of 10 and 18 yards out.
The Royals lost quarterback Quincy Carter to an injury early in the game.
K-M hosts Jefferson at 7 p.m. Thursday at French Field.

Kentwood 25, at Jefferson 7: Brandon Sytsma ran for one touchdown, Terrence Grady caught another and Brandyn Bangsun booted three field goals to lead the Conquerers (2-0) past the Raiders (1-1).
