The Kent Cornucopia Days 5K fun run last Saturday drew 544 runners and walkers.
Hezekiah Goodwin, 17, of Kent, was the top overall finisher with a time of 17 minutes, 14.2 seconds. Ben Wood, 18, of Des Moines, came in second (17:37.1) and Nathan Shine, 17, of Renton finished third (18:06).
Goodwin, who will be a senior at Kentlake High School, participated on the school’s track and cross country teams.
Megan Rogers, 22, of Kent, won the women’s title with a time of 19:01.4.
Participants were divided into 16 age categories for both men and women. A complete list of results can be found at buduracing.com.
The race started and finished at Three Friends Fishing Hole. Participants headed south on the Green River Trail turning around near Van Doren’s Landing.
