Jordyn Jenkins scored 15 points, Tresai McCarver had 14 points and JaQuaya Miller finished with 11 as Kentridge downed Todd Beamer 57-40 in the first round of the 4A state girls basketball Hardwood Classic at the Tacoma Dome on Wednesday.
The Chargers advance to play Kentake in a 5:30 p.m. quarterfinal game Thursday. The teams have split four meetings this season.
Morgan Gary contributed nine points to the win. Miller grabbed 11 rebounds and handed out four assists.
Japhera McEachin scored 14 points and Aaliyah Alexander had 11 points for the Titans.
