Kentridge’s Lizzie McKnight captured the 1-meter diving title at the North Puget Sound League meet last weekend.
McKnight scored 366.60 points. Kentlake’s Cassie Padilla was fourth (289.15).
For the Chargers, Haley DePriest was fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:37.19) and fifth in the 200 freestyle (2:06.96),
Lauren Briggs took fourth in the 200 individual medley (2:16.87).
DePriest and Briggs, the anchor, joined Jaden Keatts and Bridget Cleary to finish fifth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:55.08).
For Kentwood, Annelise Hed posted fifths in the 50 freestyle (25.71) and 100 breaststroke (1:11.27) and anchored the 200 freestyle relay team to a second-place finish. Hed, Ana Andrade, Madeleine Wallace and Hannah Ackerman posed a time of 1:46.10.
Kent-Meridian’s Jayda So was fourth in the 100 backstroke in 1:02.55.
Top finishers and qualifiers compete at the district meet at the Curtis Aquatic Center this weekend.
