The T-Birds have three games in late December that could be played at the KeyArena or at the new Kent Events Center.
“The official date scheduled for completion of the Kent Events Center is Friday, January 2. We are pointing towards the last week in December as to when we could open the doors and play hockey at the Kent Events Center,” indicated T-Birds Vice President Colin Campbell. “We booked December 27, 28, and 30 in the KeyArena between Christmas and New Year’s with the idea that games on these days could be relocated to the Kent Events Center if it is completed at that time.”
“The City of Kent, Mortenson Construction and the entire project team have been so impressive throughout this project. Based on how they have maintained the construction timeline we felt it was a good bet to schedule these three games with the potential to move from KeyArena once the completion date becomes certain,” continued Campbell. “A Kent Events Center opener against the Portland Winter Hawks on December 27 would be unbelievable.”
Fans can purchase a 8-game ticket package to all the games in KeyArena for $160. This is a savings of $2 a ticket.
T-Birds season tickets are also currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T- Birds office at 425-869-7825. Purchasing a season ticket will ensure fans can attend both the home opener at the KeyArena on October 4 and the T-Birds first game in their new home, the Kent Events Center.
